Looking back at my first business, a snow ski manufacturing company, I can’t help but smile. Like most 20-year-old’s, I had more confidence than wisdom and, what I lacked in experience, I made up for with determination and a willingness to fail.
And fail I did! That first business was a crash course in entrepreneurship and the launchpad for my career—something I have come to be thankful for over the years.
Failure is tough—especially when you’ve put yourself out there, gone all in, and told the world about your big vision. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many entrepreneurs. Nearly half of all businesses won’t make it to their fifth year, and too often, it’s not because of a bad idea, but because of lackluster marketing.
I started Larch Marketing to change that. My mission is to help small business owners not just survive, but thrive—so they can focus on what they do best: delivering great products and services to their customers.
